Growing up in rural Ohio, Troy learned the true meaning of hard work, responsibility, and the importance of community. These values were instilled by his family and the close-knit community that surrounded him.
Troy was the third generation of his family to run Balderson Motor Sales, where he started as a mechanic while still in college.

He currently serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, championing reliable energy, American manufacturing, and policies that support working Ohio families.
